This bike we rebuilt for a customer with Alfine 11-speed hub. At the same time the whole wheelset was replaced by handbuilt custom wheels, also new are crankset, handlebar, all levers, rear rack, stainless fenders and, of course small parts as brake pads and cables. This is a complete rebuild of the bike.
The chain tensioner was needed because of the vertical dropouts. It will also avoid the tensioning of the chain normally needed with internally geared hubs.
