| "Porteur" by Velostatt. 53cm | | A bike inspired by the famous parisian newspaper delivery bikes.
Fenders are made by Gilles Berthoud, the Porteur rack is by VO. Both are polished stainless steel.
This bike rolls on 650b wheels - on one side a hommage to bikes of past times, on the other a smart compromise between the stability on today's 26" and the rolling qualities of 28" inch wheels. We haved laced these wheels with Shimano 105 hubs and high polish Velo Orange rims. Of course with DT Competition spokes, 36 rear, 32 front.
Brakes are strong Velo Orange cantilevers, shifters are Shimano Rapidfire. Classic looks with nowadays safety and handling comfort.
To complete the picture we have used a very rare vintage Stronglight crank, Brooks saddle, stainless wire bottle holder and MKS Sylvan Tour pedals.
The wine will maybe be empty when you buy the bike. It's not French anyways...
We will also build that bike in other sizes for you (but no Stronglight crank, sorry).
