"Hunter's Joy" by Velostatt, 54.5cm | | This bike we built around a fantastic Coppi steel frame. It was brazed with a amazing "barocco" lugset from superlight Columbus Nemo tubing. Lug at steerer tube, fork crown, dropouts front/rear and chainstays are chrome plated. The rest was freshly painted in a métalisé British Racing Green. We did not want to have any logos on it but still it's origin is shown by the Coppi embossment.
This frame was new and unpainted when a fan found it in some cellar in Italy. With some luck it found it's way to us!
We completed it with some very fine components:
- Handlaced White Industries H2 hubs, DT spokes (Competition rear, Revolution front) and Mavic OpenPro rims.
- Crankset, bottom bracket, seatpost, rear and front derailleurs are Shimano DuraAce.
- Brooks B17 copper riveted saddle. Leather is tanned in British Racing Green.
- Campagnolo Centaur Skeleton brakes.
- Very classy matching stem.
- Campagnolo Chorus headset.
- Continental GP3000 foldable tires.
Price of CHF 5200.- is with Ritchey Road V4 pedals and DuraAce bar end shifters. We also have the matching DuraAce STI levers. Of course we will discuss those details with you.
