The Porteur now has a triple crankset for best versatility. Of course it was retrofitted with matching front and rear (Ultegra) derailleurs, too.
A rear rack was added - with Velo Orange's "Campeur" rack, you're ready for almost any hauling job.
Fenders are made by Gilles Berthoud, the Porteur rack is by VO. Both are polished stainless steel.
This bike rolls on 650b wheels - on one side a hommage to bikes of past times, on the other a smart compromise between the stability on today's 26" and the rolling qualities of 28" inch wheels. We haved laced these wheels with Shimano 105 hubs and high polish Velo Orange rims. Of course with DT Competition spokes, 36 rear, 32 front.
Brakes are strong Velo Orange cantilevers, shifters are Shimano Rapidfire. Classic looks with nowadays safety and handling comfort.
Brooks saddle, stainless wire bottle holder and MKS Sylvan Tour pedals complete the setup.
