For a customer I have retrofitted this Long Haul Trucker with V-Brakes, high end dynamo lighting and touring racks. I used Shimano DXR brakes and matching Dia Compe "road" levers, Schmidt SON 28 dynamo, Tubus Logo rear and Surly Cargo front rack.
Fenders are retrofitted, too. Distance was kept large to allow for larger, offroad capable tires. |
