| We love Genesis's bikes, but we miss two things on the most interesting ones: a flat bar option and equipment for everyday commuting and touring.
That's why we developed our Croix de Fer 931 custom, referring a lot to our flagship "Seta", but for a few thousand Francs less:
- Stainless Croix de Fer frame, made from Reynolds 931 tubing.
- Schmidt SON 28 hub dynamo, B+M Eyc and Line Small lights.
- Very elaborate light cable routing, mostly inside the frame, fork and rear rack.
- Hydraulic Magura MT2 disc brakes. One of a few that can be combined relatively well with rear rack and not too heavy at the same time.
- Light wheels with Spank Vomax rims, DT Competition spokes and Halo Spin Doctor rear hub. Handlaced by us.
- 2 x 10 speeds, Shimano Ultegra level and higher.
- Gore RideOn shift cables, completely sealed from shift lever to derailleurs.
- Microshift thumb shifters. Light and rugged design.
- Brooks Cambium saddle.
- Stainless Tubus Fly rear rack.
- Curana / Schindelhauer fenders.
- Schindelhauer pedals.
- 11.07kg as shown at size 54cm and with Panaracer Pasela 32mm tires.
