| Bottle holder Velo Orange Grand Cru. No hook. Stainless | | This cage is based on an historic French design from the '40s or early '50. You put in the bottle just like on any other cage but holds it very securely with the unique 'constrictor' coil. The little tabs allow you to spread the cage for an oversize bottle. You may also squeeze the cage in for better fit with a metal water bottle.
A cage based on this design is also made by Toei in Japan, but their cage costs $95 while ours costs much less. In all fairness, the fillet brazed Toei cage is a little nicer, with a slightly better polish and better alignment.
