| This bike was built around the unique Fichtel & Sachs "Torpedo" 3-speed-hub in the hard to find version without coaster brake, type 415. The hub is new old stock! And yes, we have a few of them left, pleas check the hubs section.
The bike also features the original shifter matching the hub. These ones are even harder to find, the most beautiful of them all and they go back to neutral position after each shifting action.
Should replacement become necessary, a SRAM stick shifter for the T3 hub will also do the job.
Another plus on such a classic bicycle are the brakes. As it is a cyclocross frame, we could mount strong cantilever brakes.
We completed the bike with stainless Gilles Berthoud fenders and a stainless Velo Orange constructeur rack. We also sell these single.
